I was looking up various colleges the other day, and I came across Lehigh Valley College.  It turns out that Lehigh is near Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Since I have family in the Pittsburgh area, and have spent some time vacationing near Allentown in the Pocono Mountains, I am pretty familiar with the area!

Lehigh looks like it offers some good programs.  Business admin, medical assisting, network technology, and criminal justice are all great fields to get into right now.  Massage therapy and graphic design are popular "artsy" type fields.  I also like how Lehigh offers accelerated programs to help students get through quickly.  Most returning students don’t want to spend four years in school — they want to get through quickly and get into their new careers so that they can start earning money!

For kicks I also thought I’d look up Boston culinary arts schools.  Not everyone wants a "practical" career, right?  Actually, though, the culinary industry is more lucrative than most people might imagine.  Entertainment is king these days, and that almost always includes a nice dinner out.  As a result, there is a lot of demand for good chefs, especially in big cities.
