You had a wonderful wedding with all of your friends and family. When it was over, you hung up your wedding dress in the back of the closet, awaiting the day when you can pass it down to a daughter or along to a friend. But you’re not quite sure what to do with the wedding sandals that went along with the dress. They’re fancy but not so fancy that they can’t be worn. Still, they’rea  part of your wedding outfit and you’re not sure if you want to treat them like any old surf thongs either.

Here are some things that you can do with your wedding flip flops to preserve how special they are:

• Wear them but only on special occasions. You can get dressed up and add sparkling sandals to an outfit on anniversaries and important dates.
• Hang them up. If you’re creative, you can create an artistic display in your home with the shoes as the centerpiece.
• Add them to a wedding memory box. You can put several souvenirs along with a photo scrapbook into the box to look at every now and then.
• Invite loved ones from the wedding over and have them sign the shoes. They’ll forever be special with the love of your friends decorating them.

You shouldn’t stick your wedding sandals in the back of your closet with the dress. They’re too cute to not be seen again and again even though the wedding is done. Get creative and you can make them stay a special part of your life.
